From the nerve-wracking months in the NICU with my firstborn to the seven months straight of two hourly wakings with my second, I've felt the bone-deep exhaustion that comes with parenthood. And like you, I've had my share of challenges.


Raised by my father after the loss of my mother at birth, I know the importance of having solid support when you need it. Now, I'm here to offer that support to you.

It was in that moment that I had an epiphany – I couldn't keep going on like this, and I knew there had to be countless other mums out there feeling the exact same way. That's why I'm a big advocate for gentle approaches!

What is the best age to enrol my baby in this course?

The ideal age to enrol in this course for your baby is typically around 4-6 months, as they begin to establish more predictable sleep patterns and their circadian rhythm matures. While babies are highly adaptable and can learn new sleep associations at any age, it's important to avoid starting the course for newborns. The fourth trimester is a period of adjustment for both babies and parents, and it's essential to allow time for your baby to adapt to life outside the womb before implementing sleep training methods.

How long will it take?

You’ll be happy to know that typically, clients start seeing significant improvements within just 3-5 days of implementing a new settling technique that suits your little one.


The key is for you to be ready 100% ready to bring about the new changes and to stick to them consistently. When it comes to babies who breastfeed to sleep, the process can take a little longer as it is a bigger change, so it may take about 2 weeks to see the results you are aiming for. Patience and consistency are key.


Remember, every child is different, so the time frame may vary based on the strategies you use and how your child responds.

Will I need to stop breastfeeding?

100% NO… definitely not!!!


This course fully supports breastfeeding and recognises it as a deeply personal journey for every parent. Regardless of your feeding method, whether it's breastfeeding, formula feeding, or a combination of both, you can rest assured that this course will not require you to stop breastfeeding.


Our focus is on transitioning away from using feeding as the sole sleep association, while still allowing your baby to benefit from the bond and nourishment of breastfeeding. You can definitely continue to nurture your breastfeeding relationship while guiding your baby toward independent sleep.

What happens if my child becomes unwell?

If your baby becomes unwell while you're in the process of transitioning them to the cot, it's best to put the sleep coaching on hold until your baby is fully recovered.


Dealing with an unwell baby can be stressful for both you and your little one, so it's essential to focus on providing comfort and care during this time. Once your baby is feeling better and back to their usual self, you can pick up the sleep coaching from where you left off, ensuring a smoother transition without added stress or discomfort.
